The email on Lonnie & Mason went out on May 19th and June 6th. This will be the last attempt to find a rescue group for Lonnie & Mason, as the vet where they're been staying is shutting its doors for good and will be sending them to the pound.

Lonnie & Mason are young Beagles who were abandoned in a cardboard box in a ditch on the side of a country road when only a few weeks old. They are now fully vetted and have an offer of transport from the vet office to any rescue that will take them.

The independent Terrell rescuer who has breen publicizing their plight assures that they are social and adoptable: "Yes, they are very social. Of course no house manners but are fine with people. They love the love and hugs given to them on my visits and Debs visits so I am sure they will be very willing to train and please. Nancy, there is no irreparably damage. I rescue only stray dogs and most of them are not use to people so I know what it takes. They funny thing is they are smarter than we are so we should not be so quick to pass judgment. These dogs are in my opinion a very trainable pair and again love people. I would however suggest they go together."
