Sadie

Sadie is a black, female, lab/border collie mix.  She is 7 y/o and is spayed.  She is house trained and wonderful with kids, cats and most other dogs. She has a lot of energy and absolutely loves swimming and running for a ball.  She would do best in a home with a lot of time for attention and playing. 

Chance

 

 

Chance is a brindle colored, male, cattle dog mix.  He is almost 7 y/o and is neutered.  He is house trained and wonderful with kids, cats and other dogs.  He is the sweetest dog I have ever owned.  Very loving andaffectionate.  He would prefer to lay around in the house rather than to be outside playing.  He is a very relaxed dog.

A friend sent me this info on a female Great Dane at the Corpus Christi dog pound.  I do not know if she's spayed or anything about her other than what you see with the photo.  I do know she's NOT one of ours.

I'm hoping thru networking that we can find this girl an adopter or foster home.  I am filled up with my own dogs and can not bring her here.  Please forward to other dog lovers if you can.

The email on Lonnie & Mason went out on May 19th and June 6th. This will be the last attempt to find a rescue group for Lonnie & Mason, as the vet where they're been staying is shutting its doors for good and will be sending them to the pound.

Lonnie & Mason are young Beagles who were abandoned in a cardboard box in a ditch on the side of a country road when only a few weeks old. They are now fully vetted and have an offer of transport from the vet office to any rescue that will take them.

The independent Terrell rescuer who has breen publicizing their plight assures that they are social and adoptable: "Yes, they are very social. Of course no house manners but are fine with people. They love the love and hugs given to them on my visits and Debs visits so I am sure they will be very willing to train and please. Nancy, there is no irreparably damage. I rescue only stray dogs and most of them are not use to people so I know what it takes. They funny thing is they are smarter than we are so we should not be so quick to pass judgment. These dogs are in my opinion a very trainable pair and again love people. I would however suggest they go together."

Bella Oh My What a Gorgeous Shepherd - Needs a Good Home

Bella needs a forever home. She is a pure bred

female German Shepherd.

She is approximately three years old. This girl

is very loyal and while the Veterinarian that

had her would tend to her horses, Bella would

fret but never acted aggressively towards

the horses!!

She was  just worried that that huge creature

might hurt her owner.

Bella is very leash trained and did not hurt the

small dogs at the Vet Clinic. She will avidly

chase rabbits which evidently her original

teenage owner encouraged. 

 

She is very calm, but does get car sick as they did not take her anywhere.

She is fine with people of all ages and is very

intelligent.

All shots current!!!

OMG!! Look at this gorgeous GSD that's going to die tomorrow!! Who can put a hold on him until a GSR can work on it?! 

Seems a dog this young could be used in training for police or something more important than just a dumped dog Meet Drake.. a beautiful 1 year old german shepard male..not neutered. abandoned on a dirt road.. was there for 3 days..very friendly and sits when asked.. loves treats.b Gives kisses ...love this boy..stray hold up 6/13 please help this boy to have a good life. These are dogs in our local shelter..I am near Denison Texas...They are not in the Denison shelter..I can help pull dogs and possibly help transport...they need homes or fostering.....no shots.no .vetting of any kind..Please help me share them ...Contact me for info...the shelter has noone on duty to take calls..I am the liason for the shelter..you can contact me here or at nalabigdog@hotmail.com

It's apparently been a VERY busy intake week at the high kill shelter in Harlingen (Tx.valley). Here are some more sad little faces, desperately in need of rescue asap! So, far, I have only found placement for two of those I've sent out this week. Please take a look at these new babies, crosspost far and wide and let me know if anyone can help. Pull/transport assistance available. Thanks!

 

1) Penny:  1 y/o female, about 8 lbs, spayed, vaccinated, house trained. Surrendered by owner because moving out of state.

2) Chihuaha Female - 6.8 pounds, about 3 months old. Likes to give kisses!

 

3) Terrier Mix Female - 7.5 pounds, around a year or so old. A little shy but sweet.

 

4) Yorkie X Female:  Young adult, 10 lbs.

5) Terrier X Male Pup:   About 3 months old, about 10 lbs. Another stocky little thing.

 6) Pom X Female: A little better pic of this girl that I sent out earlier.

Sweetpea - female special needs kitten - needing forever home

Our little black and white girl is going to be blind in one eye.  For a few days she has had a sore eye.  I've been cleaning it with warm water.  Under the eyelid it is really red and the eye is cloudy.  I took her to the vet and she has a hematoma on the eye lid.  Her cornea looks to be torn, probably by one of the other kittens.  I got ciprofloxacin antibiotic drops for the eye but he said she will probably be blind. 

 

I need everyone to cross post to anyone who might have contacts with a cat rescue.  I can't take her to the humane society because I was told they will put down any pup or kitten that is not healthy.  I've exhausted all leads.

 

Please help me try to find a home for Sweetpea.
